About this app
Written by the developer, from the store listing.
Slide, merge, repeat. A complete game of 2048 built for Apple Watch. No phone, no account, no internet. Swipe the board in any direction and every tile slides that way at once. Two tiles with the same number merge into their sum, a new tile appears, and you keep going as long as there is a move left. HOW TO PLAY - Swipe up, down, left or right to slide every tile - Two matching tiles merge into one worth double - A new tile drops in after each move - Reaching 2048 does not stop the game; keep merging as long as a move remains CHASE YOUR BEST SCORE Your best score ever is kept, and it greets you on the start screen every time you open the app. It survives a reset, so every game is played against the last one. The board itself stays uncluttered: while you are playing, only the running score is on screen. THE GAME KNOWS WHEN IT IS OVER When the board fills up and no swipe would change it, the game says so and shows you the score you finished on. Start a new board from there, or head back to the start screen. DOUBLE TAP FOR THE MENU - Undo takes back the move you just made - Reset starts a fresh board - Home returns to the start screen - Back leaves the menu with the board where it is YOUR BOARD IS KEPT Put your wrist down mid-game and the board is exactly where you left it when you come back, along with your score and the one move you can still undo. The start screen offers Continue when a game is waiting. BUILT FOR THE WATCH Tiles are sized and colored for a small screen, so the numbers stay readable at a glance and the board fills the display without crowding it. Runs on Apple Watch on its own, with no iPhone nearby. No account, no ads, no tracking and no internet connection needed. Your game never leaves your watch. Based on the original 2048 by Gabriele Cirulli, which is open source under the MIT License.
