Watch Pinball: Wrist Arcade

Real pinball, made for your wrist. They said it wouldn't work. We didn't let that stop us. Five full tables for Apple Watch, each with its own layout, missions, multiball and wizard mode. Wind the plunger with the Digital Crown, flip with a tap or a flick of the crown, and nudge the table with a shake of your wrist. Just don't shake it too hard. Boredom be gone! It's the ultimate one more quick go: already on your wrist, so you're playing before you'd have your phone out. COSMIC Fuel up and lift off. Drop the F-U-E-L targets to light the launch ramp for two-ball multiball, climb through hyperspace, chase the UFO for double scoring and dive into the black hole. CLOCKWORK Play inside a watch movement. The dial in the middle shows the real time, so the numbers you need to hit depend on when you play. The second hand sweeps round batting the ball, the hours strike mid-game, and after dark the dial glows. SUGAR RUSH Go for gumballs. Fill the sugar meter for a Sugar Rush, drop C-H-O-C to light the gumball machine for multiball, swirl the giant lollipop, ride the candy cane corkscrew and bump the jelly bear. Bake five recipes to become Sugar King. HAUNTED Lock the crypt. Spell B-O-O to light the lock, trap two balls, then summon a three-ball séance. Ride the spiral staircase, ring the belfry, and catch the ghost three times to light up the pumpkins. TREASURE Plunder the wreck. Knock down G-O-L-D to open the chest, loop the crossing PLANK and MAST ramps for combos, fire the cannon and dodge the shark. MADE FOR A SMALL SCREEN • The camera does the hard part: it follows the ball and drops to the flippers before it gets there, so you never lose a ball you couldn't see. • Catch and aim: a long tap keeps that flipper up, so you can trap the ball and line up your shot. • Kickbacks in both outlanes give you a second chance. • A proper dot-matrix display keeps score, counts your bonus and shouts about jackpots. • Haptics you can feel: bumpers thump, the plunger ratchets as you wind it.
