Vector Wing

Okay, I did something a little ridiculous. I made a 3D arcade space shooter for Apple Watch. Star Fox was a big inspiration for Vector Wing. I always loved the speed, squad chatter, strange enemies, and that feeling that one well-timed dodge could turn everything around. I wanted to capture some of that energy in an original game, then see if I could make it genuinely fun on your wrist. You steer using the watch face and Digital Crown. Your weapons fire automatically, so you can focus on flying, slipping past enemy fire, and pulling off barrel rolls and loops. Near misses give you boosts and build your combo, which means the game actively rewards you for flying a little too close to disaster. There are five pilots, voiced squad comms, wingmen who can bring bombs or emergency repairs, an asteroid tunnel, a multi-phase boss fight, Story Mode, Infinite Play, a colored wireframe Vector Mode, and Game Center leaderboards. It is watch-first, but the full game is also playable on iPhone.
